The Clerk of the Legislative Assembly informed the House of the unavoidable absence of the Speaker, whereupon Mr. Chandra Herbert, Deputy Speaker, took the Chair, pursuant to Standing Order 12.

Upon request by the Hon. N. Sharma that the House proceed to Motion 40, the Chair put the question of leave pursuant to Standing Order 27 (1).

3 The House resumed the adjourned debate on Motion 3 regarding denouncing the freedom convoy protests and affirming B.C.’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pursuant to Standing Order 25, division on the motion was deferred until 30 minutes prior to the ordinary time fixed for adjournment.
20 The House resumed the adjourned debate on Motion 20 regarding housing affordability.
