HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:
This Bill amends the Family Day Act to prescribe Family Day as the third Monday in February in each year, to align it with Family Day in all other Provinces across Canada.
1 Section 2 of the Family Day Act, S.B.C. 2012, c. 24, is repealed and the following is substituted:
2 The third Monday in February in each year is prescribed to be observed as “Family Day”.
This Bill amends the Family Day Act to prescribe Family Day as the third Monday in February in each year, to align it with Family Day in all other Provinces across Canada.
