Chartered Professional Accountants Act
SECTIONS 1 TO 22: [Various statutes] make housekeeping amendments.
1 Section 45 (1) (a) (i) of the Chartered Professional Accountants Act, S.B.C. 2015, c. 1, is amended by striking out "section 44 (1), (2), (3), (4). (5) or (6)," and substituting "section 44 (1), (2), (3), (4), (5) or (6),".
Part 2 – Agriculture Amendment
Livestock Identification Act
2 Section 9 (1) (b) (ii) of the Livestock Identification Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 271, is amended by striking out "section 9.1;" and substituting "section 9.1, or".
Part 3 – Community, Sport and Cultural
Development Amendments
South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority Act
3 Section 15 (3.1) of the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority Act, S.B.C. 1998, c. 30, is amended by striking out "under 202.1," and substituting "under section 202.1,".
4 Section 206.1 (2) (a) is amended by striking out "and," and substituting "and".
Part 4 – Environment Amendments
Environmental Management Act
5 Section 139 (1) of the Environmental Management Act, S.B.C. 2003, c. 53, is amended by striking out "a director," and substituting "a director".
Integrated Pest Management Act
6 Section 13 (2) of the Integrated Pest Management Act, S.B.C. 2003, c. 58, is amended by striking out "the committee," and substituting "the committee."
Part 5 – Finance Amendments
Carbon Tax Act
7 Section 35 (1) of the Carbon Tax Act, S.B.C. 2008, c. 40, is amended by striking out "the fuel changes," and substituting "the fuel changes".
Finance Statutes Amendment Act, 2015
8 Section 84 (d) of the Finance Statutes Amendment Act, 2015, S.B.C. 2015, c. 8, is amended by striking out "subsection 2" in both places and substituting "subsection (2)".
Pooled Registered Pension Plans Act
9 Section 3 (3) (b) of the Pooled Registered Pension Plans Act, S.B.C. 2014, c. 17, is amended by striking out ""common law partner"," and substituting ""common-law partner",".
Tobacco Tax Act
10 Section 22 (4) of the Tobacco Tax Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 452, is amended by striking out "willful" and substituting "wilful".
11 Section 32.2 (2) is amended by striking out "Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada)," and substituting "Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada),".
12 Section 39 (4) (e) and (f) is amended by striking out "willfully" and substituting "wilfully".
13 Section 48 (1) is amended by striking out ""premises"" and substituting ""premises"".

Operations Amendments
Land Survey Act
14 Section 10 (3) of the Land Survey Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 247, is amended by striking out "performed by the land surveyor" and substituting "performed by the land surveyor,".
Land Title Act
15 Section 30 (3) of the Land Title Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 250, is amended by repealing paragraph (f) and substituting the following:
(f) a certificate of pending litigation in a foreclosure action
has been filed or registered.
16 Section 231 (2) is amended by striking out "mortgagor' interest" and substituting "mortgagor's interest".
Off-Road Vehicle Act
17 Section 39 (1) of the Off-Road Vehicle Act, S.B.C. 2014, c. 5, is amended by striking out "In this section;" and substituting "In this section:".
Part 7 – Health Amendment
Health Care Costs Recovery Act
18 Section 17 of the Health Care Costs Recovery Act, S.B.C. 2008, c. 27, is amended by striking out "heath" and substituting "health".
Part 8 – Justice Amendments
Adult Guardianship Act
19 Section 32 of the Adult Guardianship Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 6, is amended
(a) in subsection (3.1) (b) by striking out "adult" in both places and substituting "adult,", and
(b) in subsection (4) (b) by striking out "advise the adult" and substituting "advise the adult," and by striking out "relative of the adult" and substituting "relative of the adult,".
Election Act
20 Section 204 (4) of the Election Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 106, is amended by striking out "British Columbia Statistics Act" and substituting "Statistics Act (British Columbia)".
Enforcement of Canadian Judgments and Decrees Act
21 Section 1 (2) of the Enforcement of Canadian Judgments and Decrees Act, S.B.C. 2003, c. 29, is amended by renumbering paragraph (c.1) as paragraph (d).
Ombudsperson Act
22 Section 19 (5) (b) of the Ombudsperson Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 340, is amended by striking out "enactment" and substituting "enactment,".
Police Act
SECTION 23: [Police Act, section 66.2] amends the definition of "police taxes" for consistency with amendments made to the Police Act by the Nisga'a Final Agreement Amendment Act, 2014.
23 Section 66.2 (1) of the Police Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 367, is amended in paragraph (a) of the definition of "police taxes" by striking out "taxing treaty first nation, means taxes levied under this Part, and" and substituting "taxing treaty first nation or Nisga'a Lands, means taxes levied under this Part,".
Utilities Commission Act
SECTION 24: [Utilities Commission Act, section 45] makes a housekeeping amendment.
24 Section 45 (4) of the Utilities Commission Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 473, is amended by striking out "utility plant or categories of utility plant" and substituting "a utility plant or categories of utility plants".
Nisga'a Final Agreement Amendment Act, 2014
SECTION 25: [Nisga'a Final Agreement Amendment Act, 2014, section 47] repeals an amendment that is being made to section 66.2 of the Police Act by this Bill.
25 Section 47 (d) of the Nisga'a Final Agreement Amendment Act, 2014, S.B.C. 2014, c. 32, is repealed.
SECTION 26: [Confirmation of statutes correction regulation] validates B.C. Reg. 172/ 2015 and confirms and gives continuing effect to the correction made to the Building Act in respect of an error of form.
26 Paragraph (a) of B.C. Reg. 172/2015 is validated and the correction made by it is confirmed and given continuing effect.

Liquor Control and Licensing Act
SECTIONS 27 TO 30: [Various statutes] make housekeeping amendments.
27 Section 122 of the Liquor Control and Licensing Act, S.B.C. 2015, c. 19, is amended in the table by renumbering the second item 4 as item 5.
Part 10 – Social Development and Social
Innovation Amendments
Employment and Assistance Act
28 Section 28 (1) (b) of the Employment and Assistance Act, S.B.C. 2002, c. 40, is amended by striking out "deducted in accordance with the regulations, from" and substituting "deducted, in accordance with the regulations, from".
Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Act
29 Section 19 (1) (b) of the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Act, S.B.C. 2002, c. 41, is amended by striking out "deducted, in accordance with the regulations from" and substituting "deducted, in accordance with the regulations, from".
Part 11 – Technology, Innovation and Citizens'
Services Amendment
Information Management Act
30 Section 1 of the Information Management Act, S.B.C. 2015, c. 27, is amended in the definition of "hold" by striking out ", includes" and substituting "includes".
31 The provisions of this Act referred to in column 1 of the following table come into force as set out in column 2 of the table:
