M. Karagianis: In the time-honoured habit of this House, I would like to introduce my newest granddaughter, Alexandra Makana Gamracy, who was born to my son and his wife, and her sister Maxine. I would like the House to please make her welcome. She is one week old.
Hon. R. Coleman: In the spirit of the member opposite, I'd also like to introduce my new granddaughter to the House. Her name is Josephine Annabelle Johnson. She was born a couple of weeks ago, and she came out at 11 pounds, two ounces.

Prorogation Address
Hon. S. Point (Lieutenant-Governor): Mr. Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly, in closing the third session of the 39th parliament of British Columbia, I wish to commend you on the accomplishments of the past year. This session has seen the passage of measures of wide-ranging and significant importance to the people of our province. On behalf of all British Columbians, I wish to express my appreciation for the care and attention you've given to your deliberations. I now relieve you of your duties. But don't go far. [Laughter.]
His Honour the Lieutenant-Governor retired from the chamber.

Hon. S. Bond: Mr. Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly, it is His Honour the Lieutenant-Governor's will and pleasure that the Legislative Assembly be prorogued until 2 p.m. today, and this Legislative Assembly is hereby prorogued accordingly.
Mr. Speaker: Hon. Members, this House is prorogued until two o'clock this afternoon.
