The House met at 2:00 p.m.

The Honourable R.G. Williston, on behalf of the Honourable L.R. Peterson, presented to Mr. Speaker two Messages from His Honour the Lieutenant-Governor.

On the motion of Mr. Williston, the following bills were introduced, read a first time, and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today.

Bill (No. 107) intituled Statute Law Amendment Act, 1971.

Bill (No. 103) intituled Tobacco Advertising Restraint Act.

Pursuant to Order, the House again resolved itself into the Committee of Supply.

The committee rose, reported Resolutions 220 to 225, inclusive (Estimates of the Department of Public Works), and asked leave to sit again at the next sitting.

On the motion of the Honourable R.G. Williston, the House proceeded to the Order "Public Bills and Orders."

The following Bills were committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

Bill (No. 61) intituled An Act to Amend the Soldiers' Land Act.

Bill (No. 66) intituled All-terrain Vehicles Act.

Bill (No. 22) intituled An Act to Amend the Assessment Equalization Act was committed, reported complete without amendment.

On the motion for the third reading of Bill 22, the House divided.
