The House met at 2:00 p.m.
MR. SPEAKER: One moment, please. The Honourable Member for Yale-Lillooet.
MR. W.L. HARTLEY (Yale-Lillooet): Mr. Speaker, I beg leave to present a Bill intituled an Act to Amend the Taxation Act.
MR. SPEAKER: Has notice of the bill been given, honourable Member? It's not on Orders of the Day, today.
MR. HARTLEY: Very good, I'll place it on the Orders. Thank you.
Pursuant to Order, the House again resolved itself into the Committee of Supply.
The committee rose, reported progress and asked leave to sit again.
The House proceeded to the Order "Motions and Adjourned Debates on Motions."
On the motion of Mr. Chabot it was Ordered that Mr. B. Campbell be appointed to the Select Standing Committee on Forestry and Fisheries to fill the vacancy caused by the absence of Mr. Merilees.
The Honourable W.D. Black, Provincial Secretary, presented the Over-all Medical Services Plan of British Columbia Operating Statement, for the year ended March 31, 1970.
The House adjourned at 5:49 p.m.

On the motion of the Honourable R.R. Loffmark, the following Bills were introduced, read a first time, and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today:
Bill (No. 44) intituled An Act to Amend the Marriage Act.
Bill (No. 45) intituled An Act to Amend the Community Care Facilities Licensing Act.
Pursuant to Order, the House again resolved itself into the Committee of Supply.
The committee rose, reported Resolutions 46 and 47, Estimates of the Department of Education, and asked leave to sit again.
The House adjourned at 11:24 p.m.
