Committee Workplan
N. Simons (Chair): Good morning, committee members. Welcome to the Special Committee on Reforming the Police Act. Thank you for joining us early this morning. We have a planning session ahead of us.
I’d like to acknowledge that I speak to you from the territory of the Tla’amin people, who signed a treaty in the last…. I think it was five years ago. I guess we all acknowledge the territory where we are meeting from. I’m glad we’re all here this morning.
As this is a planning session, I seek a motion to move in camera.
Thank you. Ellis moved. Seconded by Rachna.
Motion approved.
The committee continued in camera from 8:03 a.m. to 9:05 a.m.
[N. Simons in the chair.]
N. Simons (Chair): We’re back in public session.
Thank you very much, Hansard.
Thank you very much to the Clerk to the Committee and members of the Police Act Reform Committee. Thank you for this discussion. I really look forward to our next one.
With that, I ask for a motion to adjourn.
Motion approved.
The committee adjourned at 9:05 a.m.
