Deliberations

B. D’Eith (Chair): We are in deliberations on the statutory officers’ budgets.

If I could have a motion to go in camera.

D. Ashton (Deputy Chair): So moved.

Motion approved.

The committee continued in camera from 9:32 a.m. to 10:18 a.m.

[B. D’Eith in the chair.]

B. D’Eith (Chair): Thank you very much, everyone. I did want to say that it’s been quite the haul since September. I wanted to thank everyone on the committee for all your incredibly hard work. I really appreciate it. Great discussion.

I also wanted to thank the office of the Clerk — Ron, Karan, Stephanie, everybody…. Susan, Kate, of course.

With that, I’d like….

Interjection.

B. D’Eith (Chair): Oh, of course. And our wonderful people from Hansard. How could I forget that?

D. Ashton (Deputy Chair): Mr. Chair, I would just like to say thank you to each and every one of you, and to all the staff at Hansard. It has been an exemplary season for us. Big changes, but boy, the committee sure works well together. Thank you.

Since everybody’s kind of scooting away today, when we’re back in the middle of February, I’d love to have you all over. I live about half a block from here, and a nice glass of Okanagan wine will be a celebration, as maybe we start the next term with this. Love to have you.

B. D’Eith (Chair): Thank you very much, Dan. I very much appreciate that.

If I could have a motion to adjourn.

Motion approved.

The committee adjourned at 10:20 a.m.
