Unavoidably Absent: Sue Hammell, MLA
1. The Chair called the Committee to order at 8:33 a.m.
2. Resolved, that the Committee meet in-camera to deliberate on its draft report to the House. (Judy Darcy, MLA)
3. The Committee met in-camera from 8:33 a.m. to 9:21 a.m.
4. The Committee continued in public session at 9:21 a.m.
5. Resolved, that the Select Standing Committee on Health approve and adopt the Report of the Committee as amended today and further, that the Committee authorize the Chair and Deputy Chair to work with committee staff to finalize any minor editorial changes to complete the supporting text. 6. Resolved, that the Chair present the Committee’s Report to the Legislative Assembly at the earliest available opportunity. (Judy Darcy, MLA)
7. The Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair at 9:23 a.m.

L. Larson (Chair): I’ll just ask Judy and Darryl to make the motion.
J. Darcy (Deputy Chair): So moved.

L. Larson (Chair): I’m going to turn this over to Judy for the first motion, please.
Committee Report to the House
J. Darcy (Deputy Chair): I move that the Select Standing Committee on Health approve and adopt the report of the committee as amended today and, further, that the committee authorize the Chair and Deputy Chair to work with committee staff to finalize any minor editorial changes to complete the supporting text.

L. Larson (Chair): Thank you very much, everyone. Thank you, Susan and Lisa and everyone else — Karen, everyone who’s worked on this in the offices there. We will certainly get together and clean up the last little pieces we need to.
This is an outstanding committee. For Judy and I, I know — both of us have been on it from the beginning, for the last three years or so — it’s been an extraordinary committee and a great group of people to work with, even though the faces have changed now and then. It certainly has been a very rewarding experience. So have a good day everyone.
Can I have a motion to adjourn, please?
J. Darcy (Deputy Chair): Thank you to the staff. You’ve just done an awesome, awesome job. Thank you so much.
S. Sullivan: And congratulations to the Chair and Deputy Chair. Great leadership.
