J. Rustad (Chair): Good morning, everyone. Welcome to another meeting of our Special Committee on Timber Supply.

A Voice: So moved.

[J. Rustad in the chair.]

E. Foster: I move that the committee authorize the Chair and Deputy Chair to work with committees staff to finalize any minor editorial changes to the draft report on behalf of the full committee.
Motion approved.
E. Foster: I move that the Chair deposit the original of the report of the Special Committee on Timber Supply with the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly by August 15 and, further, that upon resumption of the sittings of the House or at the next following session the Chair shall present the report to the Legislative Assembly at the earliest available opportunity.

J. Rustad (Chair): With that, special thanks to the Ministry of Forests staff for all the support they've given. I'd like to also thank our special advisers for the tremendous amount of effort and work that they put into this, as well as to the Clerk's office. This was a very tight time frame, and they handled this very professionally to make sure that we had a good and thorough process that we've gone through. Huge kudos to the Clerk's office for that. Finally, I'd like to thank the committee members for all of their effort and work and the time that they've committed to this.
N. Macdonald (Deputy Chair): On behalf of the opposition, I'd just reflect the comments that you've made. I think we share our appreciation for all those that have been involved in the process and certainly the work of other MLAs. I think it's been time well spent and good, productive work.
J. Rustad (Chair): Great. So a motion to adjourn?
Motion approved.
The committee adjourned at 12:03 p.m.
