Election of Chair and Deputy Chair

C. James (Clerk Assistant and Clerk of Committees): This being the first meeting of the Special Committee to Review the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and there not being a Chairperson for the second session of the 39th parliament, I call for nominations for the Chair.

S. Cadieux: How about Ron?

C. James (Clerk of Committees): Any further nominations? There being no further nominations, I presume you accept the nomination.

R. Cantelon: I do.

C. James (Clerk of Committees): That being the case, I'll put the question on the motion.

Motion approved.

[R. Cantelon in the chair.]

R. Cantelon (Chair): I'd like to move that Doug Routley be Deputy Chair.

Motion approved.

R. Cantelon (Chair): Motion to adjourn?
