Unavoidably Absent: Doug Donaldson, MLA (Deputy Chair); Michelle Mungall, MLA; Bruce Ralston, MLA; Bill Routley, MLA
1. The Chair called the Committee to order at 1:04 p.m.
2. Resolved, that the Committee meet in-camera to deliberate on its draft budget consultation report. (John Rustad, MLA)
3. The Committee met in-camera from 1:05 to 3:24 p.m.
4. The Committee recessed from 3:25 to 3:28 p.m.
5. Resolved, that the Budget 2011 consultation report as amended today be adopted. (John Rustad, MLA)
6. Resolved, that the Committee authorize the Chair and John van Dongen, MLA to oversee any final minor edits to complete the supporting report text. (John Rustad, MLA)
7. Resolved, that that the Chair deposit a copy of the Budget 2011 consultation report to the Office of the Clerk by November 15 and that the Chair present the report to the House at the earliest opportunity. (John Rustad, MLA)
8. The Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair at 3:29 p.m.

J. Les (Chair): Good afternoon, everyone.
A motion to proceed in camera would be in order, moved by John Rustad.
The committee continued in camera from 1:05 p.m. to 3:24 p.m.

Committee Report to the House
J. Les (Chair): We're now in open meeting. I need a motion that the 2011 consultation report as amended today be adopted.
J. Rustad: Do you want me to make those motions?
J. Les (Chair): Yeah, okay.
J. Rustad: Chairperson, could I ask for a one- or two-minute recess?
J. Les (Chair): We need to keep going so that Jane can get out of here.
J. Rustad: We need to have our colleague on the phone.
J. Les (Chair): We need a recess until Don is back on the line.
The committee recessed from 3:25 p.m. to 3:28 p.m.
[J. Les in the chair.]
J. Rustad: Shall I read the motions?
J. Les (Chair): Yeah.
J. Rustad: Chairperson, I move that the Budget 2011 consultation report as amended today be adopted.
Motion approved.
J. Rustad: I move that the committee authorize the Chair and another member to oversee any final minor edits to complete the supporting report text. And I would like to recommend that John van Dongen be the other member.
J. Les (Chair): Okay. That's a good suggestion.
Motion approved.
J. Rustad: I move that the Chair deposit a copy of the Budget 2011 consultation report to the Office of the Clerk by November 15 and that the Chair present the report to the House at the earliest opportunity.
Motion approved.
J. Les (Chair): That concludes the work of the committee, and we will stand adjourned.
The committee adjourned at 3:29 p.m.
